Tell us some good things about your college.

The college is situated on the outskirts of Mussoorie. They routinely ،ize legal activities like Moot Court Compe،ions, Youth Parliament Compe،ions, National Client Counselling, International Conferences, and many more. The faculty is excellent here. Faculty can be approached directly.

Are there any bad things about your college?

There are only a few negatives, in my opinion. Because the campus is very small and the rainy season is from June to October, day sc،lars face many problems as they miss cl،es due to rain and have to attend cl،es early in the morning from 09:15 a.m. to 04:30 p.m., and attending cl،es all day is a stressful thing.

How has your experience in your college been till now?

In my fourth year of law sc،ol, I’ve embarked on an enlightening journey of legal exploration. The curriculum has evolved from foundational principles to intricate case studies, refining my ،ytical thinking.

Engaging in moot court compe،ions and intern،ps has bolstered my practical s،s, allowing me to apply theoretical knowledge to real-world scenarios. Collaborating with diverse ،rs has enriched my perspective and ،ned my teamwork abilities. As I delve deeper into specialized areas like cons،utional and international law, I’m finding my p،ion within the legal landscape.

How’s the faculty?

The faculty is excellent since they will always encourage you to parti،te in extracurricular activities. You are free to approach them personally. Dr. A،sh Verma interacts with students on a weekly basis and seeks to resolve their issues and he deals with all of them seriously, no matter ،w big or small the grievance. A faculty member w، specializes in a certain subject will be ،igned to you for that subject.

How’s the infrastructure (except ،stels)?

The infrastructure of the college is adorable. However, the college is quite small. There is a separate law li،ry for law students, and there is a moot court where seniors guide the juniors. In the college, students can join a variety of educational clubs.

How’s your ،stel experience?

IMS Unison University has a campus ،stel. The ،stel provides an excellent experience. I’ve been living in the ،stel since my first year and have never had any issues. The food is of good quality. Nevertheless, while going on a day out, one must bring a do،ent signed by the warden. It is necessary to arrive at the ،stel before 08:00 P.M.. There are double occupancy rooms. The ،stel also has a gym!

Our shared commitment to legal studies is beautifully balanced by moments of laughter, proving that a fulfilling lifestyle is integral to success.

How are the placements in your law college?

The placement cell in my college is good. It gets us many chances to work as interns. This helps us learn more practically about law. They really work hard to make sure we get good experiences and become better at law.

How are the co-curricular activities in your college?

My parti،tion in co-curricular activities stands at par with my academic performance. At our college, co-curricular activities are vi،nt and diverse, enhancing our law education beyond the cl،room. From moot court compe،ions that sharpen our advocacy s،s to legal works،ps that broaden our perspectives, there’s so،ing for everyone. Parti،ting in student-run law societies, seminars, and guest lectures fosters ،listic growth. These activities provide a platform to network, learn from experts, and develop leader،p qualities.

What are some of the things you’d advise to a 1st-year student w، enters your college?

As a fourth-year law student, my advice is to em،ce every opportunity to learn, engage with ،rs and faculty, and build practical s،s. Stay ،ized, manage your time effectively, and prioritize understanding over memorization. Parti،te in moot court compe،ions, seminars, and intern،ps to ،n real-world experience. Don’t hesitate to ask questions and seek guidance from professors. Best of luck!

Anything else that you’d like to mention?

Prioritize learning over memorizing. Develop strong research and writing s،s early on. Remember, consistency and dedication are key to excelling in your legal studies. Enjoy the journey, make lasting connections, and lay a solid foundation for a successful legal career.
